247 - Anderson Silva's rematch against American Chris Weidman at UFC 168 in Las Vegas ended tragically for the Brazilian fighter. Anderson broke his left leg while attempting a kick around 1 minute and 10 seconds into the second round. Weidman instinctively raised his left leg in self-defense, and the impact of his knee against the Brazilian's leg caused the shocking fracture – the crack was heard by those in the arena.

Anderson fell instantly and his rival was declared the winner, retaining the middleweight title. The greatest fighter of all time in UFC history has already undergone surgery and is recovering well, the UFC reported on Sunday morning.

Newspapers around the world reported Anderson's shocking fracture, and many are already speculating about the end of the Brazilian's victorious career, who is already 38 years old.
