SP 247 - In his first rally as a candidate for President of the Republic for PSOL, held on the afternoon of this Saturday (18), Guilherme Boulos promised to create 6 million jobs in 2 years and 1 million places in public universities. "While they produced 14 million unemployed, we will create 6 million jobs in 2 years with the Levanta Brasil program. We will create 1 million places in public universities," Boulos said in his speech.

The event, dubbed DiaB, took place at Largo da Batata in São Paulo and was attended by party parliamentarians such as Luiza Erundina, Ivan Valente, Sâmia Bomfim, and João Paulo Rillo, as well as the candidate for Governor of São Paulo, Lisete Arelaro, and the candidate for Vice-Governor on Boulos' ticket, Sonia Guajajara. "The energy of Zumbi dos Palmares is present here. The energy of Chief Jorginho Guajajara, assassinated this week, is present here. The energy of Marielle Franco is present here," said Boulos, the youngest candidate for the presidency.

Guilherme Boulos also addressed the issue of public safety, saying that unlike the killing of young black people that occurs in the peripheries, his candidacy project is the demilitarization of the police and confronting the war on drugs, based on prevention and intelligence. "The command of organized crime is not in the shacks of any favela; the command of organized crime is in Brasília, in the Praça dos Três Poderes (Three Powers Square)," he stated.
