China Radio International China Media Group (CMG) and Xiling Seal Engravers Society established a strategic cooperation partnership on Wednesday (1) to promote traditional Chinese culture and aesthetics.
The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the CMG, Shen Haixiong, the Secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liu Jie, and the Vice Chairwoman of the CMG, Xing Bo.
On that occasion, Xing Bo stated that the excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root and soul of the Chinese nation, as well as the foundation of Chinese culture in the world. To implement the strategy of building a culturally strong socialist country, as outlined at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to stimulate the nation's cultural innovation and creativity, the CMG and the Xiling Seal Engravers Society established a strategic cooperation partnership to promote traditional Chinese culture and its creative and innovative development.
CMG will launch programs and events to promote the art of seal engraving and establish a foundation for education in traditional culture and aesthetics.
With 120 years of history, the Xiling Seal Engravers Society is an artistic group with the longest history, great renown, and success in seal engraving.
