Government renews fleet of cars for the State Finance Department.
Governor Marconi Perillo delivered 200 Fiat Uno 1.0 vehicles to the State Finance Secretariat (Sefaz) this Monday morning; the new fleet will be used by the 12 Regional Tax Offices and Tax Agencies in the interior of the state; the cars were leased through a bidding process, via an electronic auction held at the end of last year; the government will pay R$ 863,00 per vehicle monthly for the rental.
Goiás247- Governor Marconi Perillo delivered 200 Fiat Uno 1.0 vehicles to the State Finance Secretariat (Sefaz) this Monday morning. The new fleet will be used by the 12 Regional Tax Offices and Tax Agencies in the interior of the state. The vehicles replace the fleet that has been in use since July 2012. The 200 vehicles were leased through a bidding process, via an electronic auction held at the end of last year. The government will pay R$ 863,00 per vehicle monthly for the rental.
The governor stated that, since the administrative reform, the government has been working to strengthen the pool of public resources in order to continue investments in various areas. “Our government is working together in all areas and has a special concern for strengthening the instruments of action that provide greater speed and efficiency in the pursuit of administrative and financial support that guarantees more works and services. The renewal of the vehicle fleet for inspection work, above all, fulfills the main requirement, which is to guarantee maximum safety and comfort conditions for our employees,” he said.
The contract term is one year, renewable for up to 60 months, and the leasing company is responsible for the complete technical assistance of the vehicles; it must replace those that reach 12 months of use. The Secretary of Finance, José Taveira, said that the new fleet will ensure greater speed in meeting the objectives established by the Department in its inspection work. The ceremony took place in the parking lot of the Finance Department, in the Negrão de Lima sector, in Goiânia.
