247 The federal government is offering 29 free courses, with a total of 160 places, open to those interested in working during the 2014 World Cup or seeking professional training. To register, you must be over 18 years old and create an account on the website. PronateccopaRegistration is open until July 16th, and classes last up to four months.
The courses will be taught by the Sistema S (SENAC, SENAI, SESC, SESI, SENAT), linked to industry. Those who register will have a pre-registration process, according to the number of places offered for each area. After registration, the Ministry of Education will send an email to students with information about the start of classes. Pronatec will inform students about available job opportunities at Mundial.
Most classes are related to the tourism sector, such as hotel reception, but also cover events, food service, and entertainment, as well as languages like English, Spanish, and sign language. Each participant can choose one professional course plus one language course. Priority will be given to students living in the host cities of the 2013 Confederations Cup and the 2014 World Cup (Brasília, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Recife, and Salvador), but registration is open to all of Brazil.
