Government brings housing to the poorest region of Goiás.
Through the Cheque Mais Moradia program, the state government prioritizes the construction of housing units in the Northeast Region of the state; in Alvorada do Norte, 30 housing units are under construction and another 40 are in the contracting phase; the investment is R$ 422, with a federal counterpart of R$ 1,36 million from the Public Offer Sub-50/II Program.
Goiás247 - In Alvorada do Norte, in the Northeast region of Goiás, 30 housing units are under construction and another 40 are in the contracting phase. The investment, using resources from the Goiás State Government's "Cheque Mais Moradia" program, is R$ 422, with a federal counterpart of R$ 1,36 million from the "Oferta Pública Sub-50/II" program. Also in Alvorada do Norte, 84 "Cheque Mais Moradia Reforma" (Renovation) checks have already been delivered out of a total of 213 checks planned for the city, totaling R$ 253. Another R$ 180 in "Cheque Mais Moradia Comunitário" (Community Housing Checks) are being invested in the construction of an Instruction and Health Center, as well as a public square.
Another example is the municipality of Damianópolis, where 30 homes have already been delivered through the Sub-50/I Public Offer Program. Another 50 houses are under construction through a partnership between Agehab/Cheque Mais Moradia and Caixa Econômica Federal/FGTS, which is another agreement that allows for the construction of more houses in the region.
The Government of Goiás is prioritizing investment in the Northeast of Goiás, the poorest region of the state. A total of R$ 40 million has already been secured for the region. This amount is the result of state investment through the Cheque Mais Moradia program (R$ 17.8 million), and partnerships with the federal government, municipalities, and contributions from the beneficiaries themselves. Twenty municipalities are benefiting, representing 100% of the total cities in the region, with 4.401 units, including new construction (1.389), renovations (2.986), and community facilities (26).
Partnerships
Only through the Cheque Mais Moradia and Oferta Pública Sub-50/II partnership, one of several undertaken in the region and throughout the State, are the municipalities of Alto Paraíso de Goiás (40 housing units), Buritinópolis (30), Campos Belos (39), Cavalcante (40), Colinas do Sul (40), Damianópolis (37), Divinópolis de Goiás (40), Flores de Goiás (40), Iaciara (22), Mambaí (39), Monte Alegre de Goiás (40), São Domingos (39), Sítio D'Abadia (40) and Teresina de Goiás (40) included.
Throughout the state, in partnership with the Sub-50/II Public Offer Program, the Agency signed contracts with families in 117 municipalities for the construction of more than 4 homes. The partnership between Agehab, the federal government, and municipalities is providing sufficient resources for the construction of higher-quality housing. All mayors were invited to partner with the state. To do so, they need to present a regularized area and assume responsibility for the basic infrastructure. Agehab facilitates the best agreement, seeks federal resources, already with the guaranteed counterpart from the Cheque Mais Moradia program.
