Government inaugurates asphalt paving.
Governor Wellington Dias inaugurates two projects executed by the Department of Highways (DER-PI) in the interior of the state; one of them, the asphalt paving in Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMA) on Avenida 9 de Abril and Rua Projetada n° 1, both in the municipality of Alagoinha do Piauí; with a length of 1.420 meters, the project cost R$ 923 million, with funding from the State Treasury.
Governor Wellington Dias inaugurates, this Friday (22), two works carried out by the Department of Roads (DER-PI) in the interior of the state. One of them, the asphalt paving in Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMA) on Avenida 9 de Abril and on Rua Projetada n° 1, both in the municipality of Alagoinha do Piauí.
With a length of 1.420 meters, the project cost R$ 923.452,80, with funding from the State Treasury. “This project will enable better urban mobility and, consequently, an improvement in the quality of life, allowing access to different areas of the city,” stated Matias Sales, Construction Manager of DER-PI.
Another project to be completed is the restoration of 12 kilometers of the PI 461 highway, in the section connecting the municipalities of Jaicós and Massapê do Piauí. The asphalt is three centimeters thick and meets current construction standards. The project cost R$ 2.340.825,03, funded by the State Government.
"Both projects demonstrate the current characteristics of the Wellington government, which has invested with quality both in the restoration of state highways and in the improvement of streets and avenues in cities of Piauí," concluded Castro Neto, Director-General of DER-PI.
