"Civil servants who earn up to this amount will receive a 1% increase in 2017, 1% in 2018, and 1% in 2019 to compensate for the increase in pension contributions. It's an income supplement."
The secretary also confirms that currently, about 80% of state employees in Ceará are paid the maximum pension amount. "It's important to highlight that the state of Ceará's contribution to the pension system will also increase, rising from 22% to 24% in 2017, and to 26% and 28% in 2019," he added.
