Federal Government releases 83 agricultural machines for AL
The machines will be used in the construction of dams and reservoirs. Two technicians from the MDA (Ministry of Agrarian Development) have already begun training representatives from 64 municipalities on the use of agricultural equipment, such as backhoes and motor graders. The shipment of agricultural machinery by the Federal Government is part of PAC 2 (Growth Acceleration Program).
Alagoas247 - The superintendent of the Ministry of Agrarian Development (MDA) in Alagoas, Gilberto Coutinho Freire, will be in Arapiraca next Thursday (16), for the delivery of 83 agricultural machines, including backhoes and motor graders.
The shipment of agricultural machinery by the Federal Government is part of PAC 2. The federal government's objective is to provide all municipalities in Alagoas with this equipment for use in the construction of dams and reservoirs, expansion of water reservoirs, and other applications.
At this stage, the allocation of backhoe loaders and motor graders also aims to improve infrastructure and the rehabilitation of rural roads to facilitate the flow of production and the circulation of goods in municipalities with up to 50 inhabitants.
To that end, two MDA technicians started, last Thursday (9), in the auditorium of the State University of Alagoas (Uneal), in Arapiraca, a training with representatives from 64 municipalities, for the use of these agricultural equipment.
Each municipality is providing two machine operators for the course, which will run until the 15th of this month of May.
