Gomide and allies hold a walk in Anápolis.

Goiás247 - The PT candidate for governor of the state, Antônio Gomide, chose the city he governed for the past five years to kick off his campaign. On Saturday morning, he and his allies took to the streets of Anápolis for a walk.

Accompanied by his running mate Tayrone and Senate candidate Marina Sant'Anna, the Workers' Party candidate toured busy city avenues, visited shopkeepers, and greeted members of the public.

Gomide has been holding meetings throughout the state in an attempt to increase his name recognition. He is currently fourth in the polls and is trying to break the polarization between PSDB and PMDB, which has lasted for 16 years.
