      Goiás247- Antônio Gomide will be launched as the PT's pre-candidate for governor tomorrow. And the mayor of Anápolis continues to forge alliances and support for his project. This week was filled with meetings with parties and leaders who could support him, ensuring that he leaves the mayor's office in March with the certainty that he will be a prominent figure in the election.

      Gomide met and spoke with leaders of the Pros party, but the party, according to Jornal Opção Online, claims to have a commitment to Júnior Friboi (PMDB) and would hardly abandon the businessman at the last minute. However, Gomide has more cards up his sleeve.

      Goiás247 has learned from sources behind the scenes that the Workers' Party member is approaching the Solidarity party, willing to offer the vice-presidential slot to the newly created party. The strongman of the SDD in Goiás is federal deputy Armando Vergílio, who left Marconi Perillo's allied base last year and has already stated that he may also be a candidate for governor.

      Vergílio and his group controlled the Secretariat for the Development of the Metropolitan Region during the Perillo administration, but Secretary Silvio Sousa resigned after the department lost autonomy in the execution of the Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) project in the capital.

      Since then, Armando Vergílio has distanced himself from the allied base, left the PSD, and participated directly in the creation of the Solidarity party in Goiás. The congressman is reportedly enthusiastic about Gomide's project, and the two are expected to meet later this month.
