Gomes highlights optimism and says that Marcelo and Kátia will pass by the 10th.

Speaking to Tocantins 247, federal deputy Eduardo Gomes, candidate for senator for the coalition “The change we see”, stated this Friday, the 29th, that more than 70% of the Tocantins population already approves of Sandoval Cardoso's government; "What the streets and our campaign work will do is link the approval of the government to the governor's candidacy. And this is happening at a very fast pace. I predict with certainty that we will surpass them [Marcelo Miranda and Kátia Abreu] in the polls by September 10th"; Gomes also highlighted regarding the polls that he has double the increase in voting intentions and has half the rejection rate of Kátia; "We will be victorious."

Tocantins 247 – Federal deputy Eduardo Gomes, candidate for senator for the coalition "The change we see", stated this Friday, the 29th, to Tocantins 247, who is optimistic about how the campaign has been going so far.

Despite him and Governor Sandoval Cardoso appearing second in the polls, respectively behind the candidate for re-election to the Senate, Kátia Abreu, and the gubernatorial candidate Marcelo Miranda, from the coalition "Experience Makes the Change," Eduardo Gomes stated that the campaign is gaining momentum in this final month of the race.

"I confidently predict that we will overtake them in the polls by September 10th. Regarding the Senate race, I am much more optimistic because I have double the increase in voting intentions and half the rejection rate of my opponent. Therefore, I am very confident because I am the one who is growing the most and has the lowest rejection rate. With the political experience I have, we will be victorious," said Gomes.

The Solidarity party's Senate candidate also said that the government's majority coalition is receiving over 250 requests for meetings. "From launching candidacies to declarations of support. The population has begun to understand and see the results of Governor Sandoval Cardoso's administration," he stated.

Regarding the polls, Eduardo explained why he considers the situation optimistic. "Even though it's not yet confirmed, more than 70% of the population of Tocantins already approves of Sandoval Cardoso's government. What the streets and our campaign work will do is link the government's approval to the governor's candidacy. And this is happening at a very fast pace," he stated.
