Paulo Portas met with Governor Marconi Perillo in Lisbon and said that the meeting will yield "practical opportunities" for business due to the attractiveness of Goiás' economy for investments; "I think we will do many things together and that there are many practical opportunities for people, which can be facilitated by a good relationship between the Portuguese government and the Brazilian authorities and the Governor of Goiás in particular."
Goiás 247 - Portugal's Deputy Prime Minister, Paulo Portas, said on Tuesday (7) in Lisbon that the mission led by Governor Marconi Perillo to the European country will yield "practical opportunities" for business due to the attractiveness of Goiás' economy for investments. Portas said he "really enjoyed meeting" the governor and that he will come to Brazil to continue the trade mission.
Portas said that Goiás is "an important state in Brazil, well-governed and with legal security" for investors. According to the Portuguese Deputy Prime Minister, the Goiás trade mission to Portugal coincides with a time when the European country is beginning to enter a new period of economic growth, with practical results for bilateral trade.
