Garibaldi: JB is focused on governing Sergipe.
“I always talk to Governor Jackson Barreto and I see him governing. He is traveling, seeking resources. Seeking to bring investments to Sergipe. Of course, he is governing alongside Belivaldo. Belivaldo is the state's vice-governor and is part of a group. We have to govern united with the entire cabinet and everyone who is part of the state. There is a whole group of people who are by Jackson's side, and so it is with Vice-Governor Belivaldo Chagas, who already demonstrated this when he was Marcelo Déda's vice-governor, and now he is making a large contribution to our government,” stated state deputy Garibalde Mendonça (PMDB).

On the contrary, the parliamentarian assures that Jackson Barreto is focused on managing the State Government. Garibalde also expressed surprise at the speculation that Jackson had left the administration in the hands of Belivaldo Chagas to focus on the 2018 elections.
