Alckmin's strength lies "in the political arena, not among the people," says journalist.
Journalist Raul Monteiro says that Governor Rui Costa's (PT) lead in Bahia against José Ronaldo (DEM) can only be reversed if Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB) gains strength; "the association is delicate because Alckmin himself hasn't taken off. The current strength of the former governor of São Paulo lies exclusively in the political field, in the partisan forces that are constantly working together in pursuit of power, and not among the people, where the PSDB presidential candidate hasn't reached," he says.
Bahia 247 – Journalist Raul Monteiro, in Tribuna da Bahia, assesses that Governor Rui Costa's (PT) lead in the Bahia gubernatorial race against DEM's pre-candidate, José Ronaldo, can only be reversed if there is some strengthening of the name of PSDB's presidential candidate, Geraldo Alckmin.

The current strength of the former governor of São Paulo lies exclusively in the political field, in the partisan forces that are constantly working together in pursuit of power, and not among the people, where the presidential candidate from the PSDB party hasn't yet arrived."
