Florence says ACM Neto should forget about the election campaign: "He's acting like a child."
Federal Deputy Afonso Florence (PT-BA) criticized the electoral ambitions of the mayor of Salvador, ACM Neto; according to the Bahian parliamentarian, ACM Neto has forgotten about the City Hall and is only thinking about the race for governor of the State; the deputy criticized the increases in property tax (IPTU) in the Bahian capital, which harm local commerce.
Bahia 247 - Federal deputy Afonso Florence (PT) criticized the initiative of the mayor of Salvador, ACM Neto (DEM), to build a Convention Center in the Boca do Rio neighborhood, in Salvador. In an interview with Rádio Metrópole, on Tuesday morning (24), the PT member said that the Democrat "seems like a child". For the parliamentarian, ACM Neto decided to run for Governor of the State and forgot about the City Hall. According to Florence, the mayor should forget about the election campaign.
According to Florence, the mayor of Salvador is overstepping his bounds by increasing the IPTU (property tax) and, in doing so, harming commerce in the capital of Bahia. "The fine-issuing industry in Salvador is a scandal," added the congressman. The Convention Center announced by ACM Neto will be built on the site of the former Aeroclube.
