Dominguinhos' family fights over inheritance.

PE247 – Relatives of the Pernambuco accordion player Dominguinhos, who died on the 23rd due to infectious and cardiac complications, have already begun fighting over the musician's assets. The dispute reportedly began even before the accordion player passed away. His son from his first marriage, Mauro Moraes, 53, his half-sister Liv Moraes, and his ex-wife Guadalupe Mendonça are unable to reach an agreement on the division of the assets.

Last week, Liv organized a tribute to the singer in Olinda, which raised R$ 190 for the family, according to information from Chevrolet Hall. Mauro accuses Liv and Guadalupe of wanting the funds for themselves and not paying for the treatment the singer received during the period Dominguinhos was hospitalized. In an interview with the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, Liv declined to comment on the impasse and said that the family dispute over the musician's estate "is nobody's business."

According to Mauro's lawyer, Rita Wiechmann, the funds were intended to settle Guadalupe's personal debts, since the artist had health insurance. On the other hand, Guadalupe's lawyer, Gilvany Brasileiro, says that Dominguinhos does indeed have debts resulting from treatment at the Sírio Libanês Hospital in São Paulo.

During Dominguinhos' hospitalization, Mauro filed a lawsuit to make decisions for his father. The process is still ongoing. According to the singer's son, Guadalupe, who claims to be the artist's wife, had not lived with the musician for several years. Curiously, she stated in an interview with Fantástico that at the beginning of June she was married to the artist, but they lived in different residences.

It's also worth noting that Mauro Moraes even lived in his father's apartment in São Paulo. As a result, Liv and Guadalupe filed a lawsuit for repossession. Now, the son is trying to acquire his father's assets.
