Exhibition featuring naked man drives Bolsonaro and MBL crazy.
During an intervention this Thursday (28), at the 5th Panorama of Brazilian Art, which is being held at the Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo, a man became naked while being observed and touched by the audience, including children; the scene was enough for representatives of the far-right such as MBL and Jair Bolsonaro (PSC-RJ) to violently attack the exhibition, calling organizers and producers “pedophiles”, among other adjectives; journalist Rita Lisauskas, author of the book “Mother without a Manual”, commented on one of these virulent posts ironically: “My God! A man! A penis! How horrible”; this was enough for her to be attacked as well.
Forum Magazine - During an intervention this Thursday (28), at the 5th Panorama of Brazilian Art, which is being held at the Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo, a man got naked while being observed and touched by the audience, including children.
The scene was enough for the usual "cajazeiras" (a derogatory term for right-wing activists), including, of course, the MBL (Free Brazil Movement) and Jair Bolsonaro (PSC-RJ), to launch a violent attack against the exhibition, calling organizers and producers "pedophiles," among other adjectives.
Journalist Rita Lisauskas, author of the book "Mother Without a Manual," commented on one of these virulent posts ironically: "My God! A man! A penis! How awful." That was enough to get her attacked as well.
Congressman Jair Bolsonaro recorded a video reproducing the scene with the caption: “Scenes that revolt… a child touches a naked man 'in the name of Culture.' I put the censor bar on the video out of respect for you. A THOUSAND TIMES YOU ARE SCUMBAGS!”
The right-wing group “Avança Brasil” has scheduled a demonstration for this Friday (29), at the door of MAM, to demand the closure of the exhibition. The controversy continues on social media and promises new episodes throughout the day.
