Evaldo: We want to remain at the base, but it will depend on the governor.

The president of the PTC-PI party, state deputy Evaldo Gomes, stated that the party wants to remain in the allied base of Governor Wellington Dias (PT), but it will depend on the head of the state executive. “The PTC will not give up on the coalition. We will meet with our pre-candidates and reaffirm this. We want to continue in the base, but it will depend on the governor.”

Piauí 247 - The president of PTC-PI, state deputy Evaldo Gomes, said that this Wednesday (4) the party will hold a meeting with pre-candidates for deputies and senator for the state to reaffirm that the PTC does not “accept imposition from those who think they own the government”.

According to the leader, the party wants to remain in the allied base of Governor Wellington Dias (PT), but it will depend on the head of the state executive. “We will meet on Wednesday. The PTC will not give up on the coalition. We will gather our pre-candidates and reaffirm this. We want to remain in the base, but it will depend on the governor. We will not accept impositions from those who think they own the government. Each party has to seek the strategy it deems best, but it cannot interfere in the strategies of others,” he stated.

The PTC's small coalition has faced rejection from parties like the MDB, which want the larger proportional coalition of its allies. "The PTC doesn't accept the large coalition. Our strategy is the small coalition. We've stated this from the beginning and we're not going to change," he declared.
