Bruno Peixoto, considered one of Iris Rezende's inner circle in Congress, affirms that José Batista Júnior will have all the necessary conditions to make his candidacy for governor of the state viable. The businessman's affiliation with the PMDB party in Goiás is expected on May 15th.
Goiás 247_ State Representative Bruno Peixoto (PMDB) used the floor of the Legislative Assembly to talk about his future party colleague, Júnior Friboi.
According to the PMDB member, the new party member is not arriving as a candidate for governor of Goiás, but will have all the possible space to make his name viable.
"We are following the possible affiliation of Júnior Friboi with the PMDB. There is a prospect that this will occur on May 15th. He will have all the conditions to work within our party to make his candidacy for governor of Goiás viable. He is not arriving as a candidate, but with the space to do so. His arrival is an honor for the country," stated the PMDB member.
Bruno Peixoto is considered one of Iris Rezende's inner circle in Congress. The parliamentarian built his career on the back of his father's close relationship with the veteran PMDB leader.
The congressman is also known for his rash statements and actions. In 2010, he even campaigned for mayor of Goiânia, causing turmoil in the alliance with the PT (Workers' Party). Every now and then, Bruno also defends Iris. And now, he decides to be lenient with Júnior Friboi.
