In Formosa, the secretary visited the municipal government, where he announced the future installation of the citizen service unit to Mayor Itamar Sebastião Barreto and local authorities. At the event, the secretary also announced a reduction in interest rates charged on loans from Banco do Povo (People's Bank) and an increase in the credit limit for micro-entrepreneurs. According to Vecci, there has never been so much money available for financing small businesses. "From now on, the State has financial resources to make life easier for those who are investing in their own business," he stated.
In addition to the Vapt Vupt unit, the city of Formosa will have a new square dedicated to sports and leisure. The square will feature exercise equipment, playground equipment, and a skate park so that young people can get off the streets and practice sports safely. In the city of Cristalina, which will also receive a Vapt Vupt (a government service center), the secretary visited several locations with the goal of choosing where a unit will be installed. Several authorities were present, including the president of the local artisans' association. The workers were thrilled with the announcement of easier access to credit from the Banco do Povo (People's Bank).
