Nurses protest against suspension of minimum wage.
Protesters are calling for an end to the suspension of the minimum wage ordered by Minister Barroso of the Supreme Federal Court.
247 - Nurses held a demonstration this Wednesday (7) on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, to protest against the suspension of the category's minimum wage, determined by the STF (Supreme Federal Court) minister Luís Roberto Barroso.
Amidst the demonstrations by supporters of Jair Bolsonaro on Copacabana beach, protesters held signs and banners defending the minimum wage law that establishes a minimum salary of R$ 4.750 for nurses and has been in effect since August 5th.
Protests were held in other cities. On the Esplanade of Ministries, dressed in lab coats, demonstrators shouted: "Nurses, in the streets, Barroso is your fault" and "United nurses will never be defeated."
