Maluf's company is negotiating a confidential agreement with the Doria administration.

Paulo Maluf's family is secretly negotiating with João Doria's city hall so that Eucatex can repurchase its shares in funds on the Isle of Jersey; this information comes from columnist Mônica Bergamo. The funds, attributed to the former mayor's family, were frozen by the courts in the lawsuit in which Maluf was accused of misappropriating funds when he was mayor of São Paulo.

SP 247 - Paulo Maluf's family is secretly negotiating with João Doria's city hall so that Eucatex can repurchase its shares in funds on the Isle of Jersey. This information comes from columnist Mônica Bergamo.

The funds, attributed to the former mayor's family, were frozen by the courts in the case in which Maluf was accused of misappropriating funds while he was mayor of São Paulo.

The company argues that few companies or banks in the world would be interested in the shares. The city could therefore receive money in exchange for them, getting rid of a "lemon".

Bergamo's column reports that Eucatex's talks with João Doria's administration are being monitored by the State Public Prosecutor's Office. These talks are being held in secrecy due to a clause established between the parties.
