247 - In a touching video that went viral on social media, an aircraft commander pays tribute to doctors who were on a flight to Manaus to help fight the coronavirus in the region.

The captain introduces himself and names each of the doctors on the flight. After asking the professionals to stand, the captain says: "All the people who stood are healthcare professionals. Each of them is leaving their family at home, moving to another city, and embarking on an honorable mission. They are traveling to Manaus to work and help Brazil overcome the coronavirus pandemic, saving more lives. These Brazilians are unsung heroes who traded their capes for lab coats and, therefore, deserve credit for their dedication. For this reason, we ask for a big round of applause."

Manaus is one of the regions most affected by Covid-19 in Brazil. The healthcare system there is already overwhelmed by the constant increase in the number of cases.
