In a statement, Cacho demands a retraction from Machado.

Emanuel Cacho, husband of the infrastructure secretary of Aracaju, issued a statement demanding a retraction from the deputy mayor José Carlos Machado (PSDB) for the audio statements that circulated on social media on Wednesday night (3); according to Cacho, his wife "does not steal and does not even think about stealing"; Cacho warned that if there is no retraction by 18 pm today, he will take legal action with the "use of the right to immediate retaliation since I never believed in the epithets that were disseminated during the period when the illustrious deputy mayor occupied the same Secretariat of Public Works", he said.

247 -  Lawyer Emanuel Cacho, husband of Maria do Socorro Cacho, Secretary of Infrastructure for the municipality of Aracaju, issued a statement this Thursday (4), in which he demands a retraction of the statements made by the deputy mayor José Carlos Machado (PMDB), in an audio in which he states that “João’s team only steals”. 

According to Cacho, his wife "doesn't steal and doesn't even think about stealing." "I demand a public retraction or a specific denial regarding her, via audio or public statement, by 18:00 PM today, at which point I will be taking legal action and exercising my right to immediate retaliation, since I never believed the epithets that were spread during the period when the illustrious vice-mayor occupied the same Public Works Secretariat," he said.
