“I will be present in the vice-president's delegation and will participate in Leomar Quintanilha's inauguration ceremony. At the moment we are in Bico do Papagaio, advocating for the PMDB to have its own candidate for governor of the state and making our name available. We are very happy with the reception to our name,” he stated.

“The document I signed in Brasília with the National leadership refers to my leave of absence from the party presidency, to give my colleague Leomar Quintanilha the opportunity to run, and for me to visit party members and present my pre-candidacy.
