Goiás 247 - Student Raphaella Noviski, 16, was killed with 11 shots after a gunman invaded the 13 de Maio State School, in Alexânia (GO), on Monday morning (6). According to delegate Rafaela Wiezel, responsible for the investigation, the main suspect is Misael Pereira, 19, arrested in flagrante shortly after the crime.
In an informal interview with the police officer, the suspect said he hated Rafaela and bought the gun to kill her. “Besides confessing to the crime, he said he hated Rafaela. They studied at the same school and lived near each other, but they didn't have a close relationship. Despite this, he knew everything about her life. From all indications, he was a kind of 'stalker',” reported the police officer.
Investigations are ongoing to confirm whether the crime was indeed motivated by passion. "He told us about a failed attempt to give the young woman a gift last year, but, initially, she never did him any harm. Everything indicates that the motive for the crime was passion," the police chief said in an interview with Jornal Opção.
According to Wiezel, the shooter jumped the school wall, entered the classroom, and killed the girl with 11 shots, all to the face. No one else was injured. While trying to flee the scene, the shooter hitched a ride with an elderly friend of the family, but was found by the Military Police and arrested on the spot.
