Following Eliton's presentation, the governor highlighted the technical quality of the proposed guidelines and strategies, which Marconi described as "high-level work." Other points highlighted by those present during the meeting were the feasibility of the actions and the planning being deeply aligned with the government's efforts to optimize resources and increase efficiency in public spending.
Finally, Marconi emphasized the vice-governor's leadership and dynamism in developing the plan and praised the technical team. Also participating in the meeting, held on the 10th floor of the Pedro Ludovico Teixeira Palace, were the Secretaries of Management and Planning, Thiago Peixoto, and of Finance, Ana Carla Abrão, as well as the executive superintendents of the Secretariat of Economic Development.
Divided into four structuring axes – Industry, Commerce, Services and Mining; Foreign Trade; Science, Technology and Innovation; and Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation – in addition to a cross-cutting axis – Regional Development – and institutional measures, the plan foresees investments in strategic actions for the four years of this administration.
“We are seeking new paths for the social and economic growth of the state of Goiás. In this way, we will have the necessary tools so that the government, through modern and efficient management, can offer the best service to the public,” said José Eliton. According to him, Goiás is a highly competitive and innovative state, and it is under this vision that all the material is being developed.
Situation Room
The use of technological resources for mapping and monitoring all projects and programs should also be one of the innovative actions included in the plan. This mapping should be done through a Situation Room. "Without a doubt, an excellent tool," said the governor.
