Eduardo denies accusation against him in Acrônimo.

Targeted by coercive measures from the Federal Police this Wednesday, the 30th, state deputy Eduardo Siqueira Campos (DEM) testified and said that there is no direct accusation against him in Operation Acronym; "They said they delivered it to third parties, who in turn could have delivered it to me. So there was no direct accusation against me, and that's what I clarified. I don't know who received it, in fact, I don't know if anyone received it. I just want to reaffirm that I was not accused of receiving any advantage, of it being delivered to me," he stated; in addition to Eduardo, the former director of the State Department of Transit (Detran), Júlio César Mamede, also testified to the Federal Police.

Tocantins 247 - State Representative Eduardo Siqueira Campos (DEM) testified this Wednesday, the 30th, to the Federal Police regarding the investigations of Operation Acronym.

After testifying, Eduardo said that there are no direct accusations against him. "They said they delivered it to third parties, who in turn could have delivered it to me. So there was no direct accusation against me, and that's what I clarified. I don't know who received it, in fact, I don't know if anyone received it. I just want to reaffirm that I was not accused of receiving any benefit, of it being delivered to me," he declared.

Subject to coercive questioning, Eduardo Siqueira said he is calm and that he made his cell phone and computers available to investigators. In addition to Eduardo, former director of the State Department of Transit (Detran), Júlio César Mamede, also testified to the Federal Police. 

The focus of this 12th phase of Operation Acronym, launched this Wednesday, the 30th, in Tocantins and the Federal District, is on bidding processes at the State's Department of Motor Vehicles (Detran). The first phase of Operation Acronym was launched in 2015, investigating a money laundering scheme in election campaigns involving printing companies and communication agencies.
