SP 247 – Eduardo Guimarães, founder of the Blog da Cidadania, an NGO, and the Movimento dos Sem-Mídia, officially announced his candidacy for city councilor in São Paulo for the PCdoB this Tuesday, the 16th.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, he recalls having "represented the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, the Federal Police, and the National Council of Justice many times against media empires, Supreme Court justices, research institutes, and even against Judge Sergio Moro," but says that "such instruments are not proving sufficient."
One of the biggest fighters in the blogosphere against the rise of the right and the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff, he promises, as a city councilor, to "fight to prevent the worrying rise of the far-right in the capital of São Paulo".
