Dr. Silvana says she will attend the PMDB Ethics Committee hearing.
Congresswoman Dra. Silvana (PMDB) reported that she was summoned to appear at a hearing before the PMDB Ethics Council due to her stance regarding the extinction of the Municipal Accounts Court (TCM). The congresswoman stated that she will attend the hearing, but with the objective of "advising the party." "Closing the issue without a representative is wrong, as is appointing an executive without a state representative," she criticized. In addition to her, Representatives Audic Mota and Agenor Neto may be expelled for contradicting the party's decision.
Ceará 247 - Deputy Dra. Silvana (PMDB) informed, in a statement at the Legislative Assembly this Tuesday (22), that she was summoned to appear at an instruction hearing by the PMDB Ethics Council. The summons concerns the parliamentarian's vote regarding the extinction of the Court of Accounts of Municipalities (TCM).
Dr. Silvana, along with deputies Audic Mota (PMDB) and Agenor Neto (PMDB), voted for the extinction of the court of accounts, contradicting a decision established by the party.
The congresswoman said she will attend the hearing, but with the aim of "advising the party." "Closing the issue without a representative is wrong, as is appointing an executive without a state representative," criticized Dr. Silvana, referring to the lack of debate on the topic within the party.
Furthermore, Dr. Silvana assessed the possible change of the PMDB's name to MDB – as it was at the party's founding. "Changing the name won't solve anything if the essence doesn't change," she opined.
