The singer and songwriter from Pernambuco was transferred to São Paulo after suffering a cardiac arrest on the 8th in Recife, as a consequence of complications caused by lung cancer.

São Paulo - Accordion player Dominguinhos, 71, has been receiving medical treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sírio-Libanês Hospital since Sunday the 13th, where he was transferred after suffering a cardiac arrest on the 8th in Recife, as a consequence of complications caused by lung cancer.
According to the only bulletin released so far by the Sírio-Libanês hospital, the patient arrived in stable condition and underwent imaging and laboratory tests, as well as intensive medical treatment with the involvement of eight specialists.
Before the transfer, the musician was undergoing treatment at Hospital Santa Joana, in the capital of Pernambuco, where he had been hospitalized since December 17th.
