Dimas takes a 10-day leave of absence from the Araguaína city hall.

Tocantins 247 – The mayor of Araguaína, Ronaldo Dimas (PR), has taken leave of absence from his position from this Thursday, January 30th, until February 10th. Until then, the vice-mayor, Fraudneis Fiomare (PMDB), will assume the position and will be sworn in at a ceremony in the City Council.

The City Hall did not disclose the reason for the mayor's removal from office. It only stated that the message sent to the City Council requesting authorization is in the Official Gazette No. 526, published this Wednesday.

"All of our projects will continue as normal. I have complete confidence that Fraudneis will lead the administration along the lines we have been working towards so far," said Mayor Ronaldo Dimas.
