The final event in the cycle of celebrations marking 10 years of PT (Workers' Party) government will take place in Salvador on the 24th, with the presence of President Dilma Rousseff and former President Lula. The celebration will be held at the Bahia Othon Palace Hotel, starting at 17 PM.
The event will be opened by the head of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, Minister Gilberto Carvalho, who will give a lecture on social movements and popular participation. Other participants will include figures such as Governor Jaques Wagner and the national president of the PT (Workers' Party), Ruy Falcão, as well as representatives from various labor unions.
