Dias authorizes works for the interior of the state.

The state government has authorized the renovation of seven schools in the municipality of Milton Brandão: the Diogo da Silva School and the Professor Maria de Lourdes Nunes Brandão School, as well as schools in the communities of São Gonçalo, Açude dos Dandouras, Paudarcal, Marfim, and Todos os Santos. This news is the result of a request made by the city's mayor, Casa Grande, in a meeting with Governor Wellington Dias, through the Secretary of Government, Merlong Solano.

The State government authorized the renovation of seven schools in the municipality of Milton Brandão: Unidade Escolar Diogo da Silva and Unidade Professora Maria de Lourdes Nunes Brandão, as well as schools in the communities of São Gonçalo, Açude dos Dandouras, Paudarcal, Marfim and Todos os Santos. The news is the result of a request made by the city's mayor, Casa Grande, in a meeting, this Tuesday (31), with Governor Wellington Dias, through the Secretary of Government, Merlong Solano.

The construction of fords was also authorized in the localities of São Gonçalo/Cajueiro, Cajueiro/Capivara Velha and Bom Princípio/Santo Antônio. "When it rains, the cars that transport the students cannot pass because the river floods. The students are unable to attend classes for fifteen days," commented Casa Grande.

Gonçalo do Gurgueia, to offer courses in dance, theater, sewing, hairdressing, computer skills, among others. "This initiative will be very important for the professional development of our people," emphasized Mayor Paulo Lustosa, who was accompanied by municipal leaders and the Secretary of State for Culture, Fábio Novo. The mayor also requested an ambulance and a basic unit of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU).

Secretary Merlong Solano highlighted the governor's concern in bringing improvements to the interior of the state. "The decentralization of services is essential to guarantee quality of life for people and, at the same time, prevent the population from having to travel to the capital to study or obtain healthcare, for example. Hence the importance of investments not only in the larger municipalities, but also in the smaller and more remote ones," the official emphasized.

On that occasion, the mayor of Joaquim Pires, Genival Bezerra, and the first lady and municipal secretary of Education, Leda Miranda, requested resources from the State Government to renovate the Joaquim Pires Mixed Health Unit, carry out mobility works, and build a multi-sports court in the Jacaré locality.

The mayor of Capitão de Campos, Tim Medeiros, celebrated the authorization for the city hall to build sports courts and an auditorium at the Ari Nunes de Sousa School Unit, used by the municipality but owned by the state. The governor also approved the summoning of the second-placed company in the bidding process for paving streets in the center of Capitão de Campos, given that the first-placed company did not carry out the work.
