247 Deportation may be Weintraub's final destination. The former minister may have used his prerogative as a government employee to enter the US. If the diplomatic shortcut is confirmed, Weintraub will have to pack his bags and return.

The report from Istoé magazine It highlights that "the United States government has closed its borders to Brazilians because of Covid-19. The exception for entry is permitted only for government officials with diplomatic passports."

The article also notes: “If Abraham used this premise to obtain permission, a rule could lead to the former minister's deportation. Those who 'circumvent the application of this proclamation through fraud, intentional misrepresentation of a material fact, or illegal entry will be priorities for removal by the Department of Homeland Security,' the rule describes.”
