DEM and PPS announce support for Roberto Cláudio.
During the PPS convention that ratified support for Roberto Claudio (PDT), on Saturday morning (30), the state president of DEM, Moroni Torgan, announced that his party unanimously decided to join the current mayor's ticket.
Ceará247 - Roberto Cláudio (PDT) gained two more important endorsements in the race for Mayor of Fortaleza. At the PPS convention on Saturday morning (30), which ratified the support for the current mayor, the state president of DEM, Moroni Torgan, announced that his party decided, unanimously, to support the re-election of the head of the municipal Executive. DEM and PPS will form a coalition in the election for city councilors.
The PPS convention was held at the Praia Centro Hotel and was attended by political and business leaders, as well as the party's 65 candidates for city council. Among the politicians present were federal deputy Moroni Torgan (DEM), state deputy Leonardo Pinheiro (PP), and city councilor Carlos Mesquita (Pros).
Present at the event, Roberto Cláudio said he has until the 4th to decide on his running mate, the date of the PDT convention.
