Delúbio is the reason for a fight between Túlio and Mauro Rubem.
A member of parliament from the PSDB party said he would disinfect with hand sanitizer the chair Delúbio sat in during the tribute to the PT's 33rd anniversary at the Assembly on Monday night; Túlio said the act symbolized the protection of ethics in the House; PT member Mauro Rubem strongly disliked his rival's attitude and started a fight; parliamentarians intervened and prevented the two from physically assaulting each other.
Goiás 247_ The presence of Delúbio Soares at the session honoring the 33rd anniversary of the PT (Workers' Party) at the Legislative Assembly of Goiás on Monday night, and the applause he received, continue to generate discussion.
On Tuesday afternoon, the former treasurer of the PT party was the cause of a near physical altercation between deputies Túlio Isac (PSDB) and Mauro Rubem (PT).
Túlio, known for being controversial and for his rivalry with Rubem, asked for the floor and said he would clean the chair where Delúbio sat with hand sanitizer. The gesture, according to him, would protect ethics and prevent the Assembly from being "contaminated" by someone convicted in the Mensalão scandal.
Túlio Isac's attitude infuriated Mauro Rubem. A heated argument ensued, and Mauro confronted Túlio in the Assembly's plenary session. Túlio didn't back down, and when there was a risk of a physical confrontation, parliamentarians and aides entered the plenary and restrained the two deputies.
Faced with the commotion and aggression, President Helder Valin (PSDB) suspended the session and then ended it in an attempt to calm tempers in the House plenary.
