Datafolha consolidates "wave of reason," celebrates Aécio.

A poll showing a two-percentage-point increase for the PSDB candidate demonstrates a movement in which voters have realized that his candidacy is the only one with a plan to defeat the PT, said Aécio Neves, after an event with union members in São Paulo; he also celebrated being the candidate with the lowest rejection rate and again criticized Marina Silva, saying that his opponent's candidacy is "improvised"; "It's becoming clear that it's just swapping one bad situation for another," he said, comparing the PT and Marina's PSB.

247 - The PSDB presidential candidate, Aécio Neves, celebrated on Friday the two percentage point increase registered in the Datafolha poll released today. The poll also showed a one-point increase for President Dilma Rousseff and a three-point drop for her PSB opponent, Marina Silva.

For Aécio, who participated today in an event with union members in São Paulo, the poll results consolidate the "wave of reason" and show a movement in which voters have realized that the PSDB candidacy is the only one with a solid plan to defeat the PT and Marina's "improvised" candidacy.

The candidate also celebrated having the lowest rejection rate among the presidential candidates. "This is a noteworthy statistic that pleases me. I now have the lowest rejection rate among all the candidates who are actually running for reelection, even lower than candidate Marina."

Regarding the PSB's opponent, he reaffirmed that "she was unprepared, did not build a feasible project, and does not have the personnel to execute it." According to him, Brazilians realized that voting for Marina is "swapping one bad situation for another." The campaign of the PSDB presidential candidate also released a statement commenting on the poll. Read an excerpt:

Datafolha reinforces the scenario already presented by Ibope on Tuesday (September 16th), in which Aécio was the only candidate who rose in all scenarios. It shows that the current virtuous movement of the "Change Brazil" Coalition is a result of the "Wave of Reason," in which voters believe that Aécio represents change with security, experience, and competence, while rejecting the failure of the PT government and the impromptu candidacy of Marina Silva, who changes her position constantly, doesn't say who she will govern with, and who also militated in the PT for over 20 years.
