Criminals continue to set buses on fire in the metropolitan area.
The number of buses set on fire since Sunday night (12) in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte has reached ten; according to the Military Police (PM), by early Tuesday morning (14), ten people had been detained; the latest attack occurred during the early hours of Tuesday in the Independência neighborhood, in the Barreiro Region, in Belo Horizonte.

The first bus to be burned was on Sunday night (12), in Belo Horizonte, on Via 240, in the Monte Azul neighborhood, in the North Region. According to the PM, the attack by seven criminals was a protest against mistreatment suffered by an accomplice who was arrested.
The second vehicle caught fire was in Vespasiano, in the Metropolitan Region. The bus was on line 5600. The cause of the accident was not reported.
On Monday afternoon, three more vehicles were set on fire in Sarzedo. According to the police, the fires were motivated by an operation against drug trafficking on Monday morning (13).
That night, a minibus was burned in Betim, another in the Olaria neighborhood of the capital, and yet another attack occurred in Contagem, in the Riacho das Pedras neighborhood.
