Forum Magazine - Greg Glassman, founder of the CrossFit sports brand, announced his retirement after 20 years, after causing an unprecedented crisis in the company following an ironic post on Twitter in which he criticized the coronavirus pandemic and made a connection with the anti-racist protests that occurred in the US because of the murder of George Floyd by white police officers.
A week ago, on the 6th, Glassman criticized a publication by the US health institute, which classified racism as a public health problem. "It's FLOYD-19," commented Glassman, who hours earlier had a controversial statement leaked, made during a meeting with owners of the brand's gyms via the Zoom app.
"We are not mourning George Floyd – I don't think I or anyone on my staff is," he said at the time.
