Mines 247 – A pre-candidate for federal deputy, state deputy Rogério Correia (PT) launched an online page with the goal of raising donations for his electoral campaign. In announcing the creation of the platform on Facebook, the legislator did not hold back in his criticism of the Michel Temer government, which is rejected by almost all Brazilians.

"Contribute to Rogério Correia's pre-candidacy for federal deputy. Contribute to someone who is always fighting against the coup, against the Temer misgovernment, against the reforms that take away workers' rights, against selling Brazil for peanuts to foreigners... And who is always fighting for Lula's freedom, for national sovereignty, for the people in power," Correia wrote.

The Michel Temer government came to power through a parliamentary coup – both the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Federal District as a Senate audit They admitted that Dilma Rousseff was innocent.

Currently, the current administration is approved by only 3% of Brazilians, according to a Datafolha survey published on Sunday (10) by the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo. According to the survey, 82% consider the Temer government bad or terrible. Another 14% consider his administration to be average.

The country ended 2017 with more job cuts than new hires, and had its credit rating downgraded twice this year (2018) by two risk rating agencies (Standard & Poor's e Fitch), in addition to promoting deep cuts in social rights.

Still within the economic sphere, Temer's sell-off of national assets continues at full steam. On the 7th of this month, for example, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP Energy, Petrogal, and Statoil (the Norwegian state-owned company) were the winners of the 4th round of bidding for pre-salt oil fields.

Allegations

Temer was also the first president to be indicted for corruption – twice last year, the first time for passive corruption and the second for criminal organization and obstruction of justice.

The politician from the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB) is at serious risk of facing a third indictment, as the Federal Police are investigating alleged favoritism towards companies in the port sector, through the issuance of the Ports Decree, in exchange for bribes.

In another investigation, related to Operation Cui Bono, which investigates irregularities and embezzlement at Caixa Econômica Federal during the time when former minister Geddel Vieira Lima was vice-president of Corporate Banking at the institution, the Federal Police mentions a suspected attempt by Temer to buy the silence of former Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Eduardo Câmara and money launderer Lúcio Funaro, identified as an operator of bribes for the MDB party.
