Bodies of young people killed in accident are laid to rest.
The bodies of the four victims who died in an accident on the RSC-472 highway in Santa Rosa, in the northwest of the state, are being mourned at the Santo Cristo Parish Social Center in the same region; the car Matheus was driving left the road and collided with a tree; according to the Military Police, Leonardo Henkes was thrown from the car by the impact of the crash and died at the scene; the other three people died from burns.
Rio Grande do Sul 247 – The bodies of the four victims who died in an accident on the RSC-472, in Santa Rosa, Northwest of the state, are being viewed at the Santo Cristo Parish Social Center, in the same region. The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon (4). The funeral mass is scheduled for 16:30 pm this Sunday (5) at the Santo Cristo Parish Church.
Leonardo Henkes, Tiago Schreiner, and Cassiano Utzig, all three 19 years old, died in the collision, along with Matheus Schreiner, 20 years old. All were from Santo Cristo and studied in other cities in Rio Grande do Sul.
The group was in the region to spend the Easter holiday with family. Before the accident, they gathered at Cassiano's house for a barbecue. After the get-together, the friends decided to go to Santa Rosa. On the way back, the car Matheus was driving left the road and collided with a tree.
According to the Military Police, Leonardo Henkes was thrown from the car by the impact of the crash and died at the scene. The other three people died from burns.
