247 - Councilor Susana Azevedo, from the State Court of Auditors (TCE), signed yesterday a management adjustment agreement (TAG) with the municipality of Capela so that Mayor Ezequiel Leite (PR) acts to remedy irregularities found in the municipality's Education sector. With this TAG, Susana concluded the schedule of meetings with the mayors who are part of her area of operation.

Ezequiel Leite has committed to improving educational conditions within the deadlines set by the council member. He has 30 days to reverse the lack of computer classes, the existence of broken bathrooms, and other irregularities that, according to Ezequiel, will not be difficult to resolve. “This initiative from the TCE (Court of Accounts) will be effective, as we have the support of the body, which seemed to be a source of criticism, but is not. Our partnership will succeed, and we will return here to demonstrate excellence in services to the 5.500 students. We want Capela to be portrayed positively in the media, as a reference in education,” promised the mayor.

Councilwoman Susana Azevedo emphasized that this partnership between the court and the municipalities could reduce illiteracy rates in the interior of the state. She also said that "the doors of the Court are open to clarify doubts and promote courses with collaborators from external sectors." "This was the last of the 12 municipalities in my area. In June, we will begin the topic of Health and we are very excited," she said.

By signing the TAG (Terms of Adjustment of Conduct), the municipalities committed to resolving, within 180 days, a series of problems related to the physical structure of the schools, among which, in some cases, the need for the installation of libraries and computer labs stands out, in addition to shortcomings related to the provision of school meals and water available to students.
