247 - A supra-partisan manifesto in support of Marina Silva will be launched this Monday at 14:30 PM in the City Council, with the participation of parliamentarians who work on various fronts in Goiás. There are representatives aligned with the gubernatorial candidates Vanderlan Cardoso (Popular Participation Coalition), such as councilors Elias Vaz and Pedro Azulão Jr., both from the PSB; Iris Rezende (Love for Goiás Coalition), such as the president of the City Council, Clécio Alves (PMDB), and the president of the party's metropolitan directorate, Mizair Lemes Jr.; and Marconi Perillo (Guarantee of a Better Future for Goiás Coalition), such as councilor Fábio Lima (PRTB).

"So far, fifteen city councilors have confirmed their participation, but that number should be even higher. And we are also expecting the participation of state representatives. We expect a large number of parliamentarians interested in being part of this project, regardless of which candidate they support for governor of the state," says Elias Vaz, one of the organizers of the manifesto.

According to him, the objective is to strengthen Marina Silva's campaign in the state. A Serpes/O Popular poll released last week shows that the candidate has 31,5% of the voting intentions in Goiás, ahead of Dilma Rousseff (28,2%) and Aécio Neves (18,5%). Among the three candidates, she has the lowest rejection rate: 9,5%.

According to Elias, the goal is to demonstrate that Marina's proposals transcend partisan interests. "The current economic model is exhausted, the results are mediocre. And, more than that, people from various parties are dissatisfied with the quid pro quo that has taken over the federal government. These parliamentarians are convinced that Marina will realize the feeling of change that has been sweeping the country," he states.

Later this week, a Committee to Support Marina Silva on All Parties will be inaugurated.
