247 - Around 300 people participated in a rally for PSB presidential candidate Marina Silva on Saturday night (20), in the outskirts of Salvador. At the event, held on the football field in the Cajazeiras neighborhood, representatives of the black movement and Afro-Brazilian groups declared their support for Marina.

At the event, she said "that she will not allow corruption by those involved in the Mensalão scandal at Petrobras." "We will maintain the good things. We will explore the pre-salt resources. We will dedicate resources to health and education. What we will not allow is for a director, a group of those involved in the Mensalão scandal, to corrupt Petrobras," she said.

Marina accused her opponents of "underestimating the intelligence of the Brazilian people" by claiming that she would end social programs like Bolsa Família. "That's the attitude of someone who, instead of having a program, wants to win elections based on rumors," she stated.
