With 39,8%, Dilma easily beats Marina and Aécio in Minas Gerais.

President Dilma Rousseff (PT) opened a surprising lead over her opponents Marina Silva (PSB) and Aécio Neves (PSDB) in Minas Gerais; according to a DataTempo survey, published this Saturday (20) by the newspaper O Tempo, Dilma grew 3,7 percentage points compared to the previous study and currently has 39,8% of the intentions of the Minas Gerais electorate; Marina Silva and Aécio Neves appear technically tied, with 22,3% and 21,1%, respectively.

According to a DataTempo survey, published this Saturday (20) by the newspaper O Tempo, Dilma grew 3,7 percentage points compared to the previous study and currently has 39,8% of the intentions of the Minas Gerais electorate. Marina and Aécio appear technically tied, with 22,3% and 21,1%, respectively. According to DataTempo, Dilma would also win the elections in a possible second round.

President Dilma Rousseff also leads her opponents in the spontaneous poll, with 36,9% of voting intentions. Marina Silva registers 19,4%, while Aécio Neves has 17,8%. The Workers' Party candidate also has an advantage in terms of rejection. Dilma saw her rejection rate among voters in Minas Gerais plummet from 26,1% in August to 21,9% in September. Former governor and senator Aécio Neves saw his rejection rate increase from 22,5% to 25,2%. The rejection rate for the PSB candidate rose from 7,6% to 12,1%.

In the event of a second round, Dilma would also beat her opponents in Minas Gerais. In a contest between Dilma and Aécio, the Workers' Party candidate would have 49,8% of the votes, compared to 32,8% for the PSDB candidate. In the previous poll, Dilma had 42,8%, while Aécio had 32,5%. In a possible contest between Dilma and Marina, the president would be re-elected with 47,2% of the votes from Minas Gerais voters, while Marina would have 34,4%. In the previous study, conducted in August, Dilma had 43,1% and the environmentalist 38,1%.
