Floods affect nearly 10 people in Rio Grande do Sul.

According to the latest bulletin released by the State Civil Defense, there are a total of 2.201 homeless, 7.199 displaced, one injured, one missing, and two deaths, one in São Leopoldo and the other in Montenegro.

Government of RS - The latest bulletin released by the State Civil Defense, on Tuesday night (27), counts the number of 9.402 people affected by the flood that has left Rio Grande do Sul on alert since Thursday (22). In total, there are 2.201 homeless, 7.199 displaced, one injured, one missing and two deaths, one in São Leopoldo and the other in Montenegro.

According to information from the state Civil Defense coordination, some people are already returning to their homes in Esteio, after verifying that there is no risk of accidents. The latest bulletin also confirms two landslides in the municipality of Igrejinha, where 12 houses were affected, with no injuries or fatalities reported. There were also landslides in Vale Real (23 houses affected) and Salvador do Sul (3 houses).

According to the Military Highway Command and the Federal Highway Police, some highways remain blocked and have potholes.
