Chalita leaves the São Paulo Education Secretariat.

The Official Gazette of the City published this Wednesday, the 1st, the resignation at the request of Gabriel Chalita, along with the deputy secretary Emilia Maria Bezerra Sanches; in their place, Mayor Fernando Haddad appointed Marcos Rogério de Souza, who was the chief of staff of the secretariat; Chalita, who this year switched from the PMDB to the PDT, is being considered as a candidate for vice-mayor on the ticket with Fernando Haddad (PT) in the municipal elections in October.

SP 247 - The municipal secretary of Education of São Paulo, Gabriel Chalita, has left his post. His resignation, at his own request, was published this Wednesday, the 1st, in the Official Gazette of the City, along with that of the deputy secretary, Emilia Maria Bezerra Sanches. 

In his place, Mayor Fernando Haddad appointed Marcos Rogério de Souza, who was the chief of staff of the secretariat.

Chalita, who this year switched from PMDB to PDT, is being considered as a candidate for vice-mayor on the ticket with Fernando Haddad (PT) in the municipal elections in October. Chalita had been in charge of the Education Department since January 15, 2015.
