Ceara 247 - This Tuesday, June 2nd, Ceará Sporting Club is celebrating its anniversary. The team is turning 101 years old. Its achievements have been numerous, its victories countless. Deputy Evandro Leitão, leader of the government and president of Ceará Sporting Club, made a statement this morning in the Legislative Assembly, greeting the fans and highlighting the importance of winning the Copa do Nordeste for strengthening football in Ceará.

Birthday schedule
To celebrate its anniversary, Ceará Sporting Club prepared a special program. At 6:30 am, in Porangabuçu, there was a fireworks display. Afterwards, the club's directors participated in a breakfast.
To continue the festivities, at 18:30 PM, at the Sal e Brasa restaurant on Avenida Abolição, there will be a special dinner with a full buffet. Members will pay R$ 100, and non-members R$ 150.
Today, Ceará will travel to Arena Pernambuco to face Náutico at 19:30 PM, for the 5th round of the Brazilian Série B. Currently in 11th place with four points, the "Vovô" (Ceará's nickname) seeks redemption after stumbling at home against CRB.
